A Bunch Of Stuff: New York

A Bunch Of Stuff was the first time Johnny Depp opened his private creative world to the public. Staged across a sprawling space in Chelsea, the exhibition led visitors through a sequence of themed rooms divided by velvet drapes, filled with paintings, drawings, handwritten notes, books and the everyday clutter of a working studio.

Much of the work is on paper, drawn from journals Depp has kept since his teens. At the centre sat the Black Box, an immersive curved-screen film in which Depp narrates his own path through art.
