PEOPLE Magazine holds no prisoners when publishing zeitgeisty articles for America's social consumption.
In its latest article on Johnny Depp, the publication describes the highlights of his most recent trip to NYC, from watching Robert Downey Jr.'s Broadway debut to attending his own exhibition launch. As a hotbed of creative ingenuity, New York was the ideal city to host both the thespian and artist's respective projects.
On Tuesday morning, Robert Downey Jr. returned the favour and attended a private tour of Johnny's A Bunch Of Stuff exhibition. He was reportedly so taken with the artwork, that he left Johnny a sentimental note, signed: “X your peer in awe!!! xxx."
Johnny said in a previous statement, "Through the magic and madness of life, art has been my sanctuary. These pieces, born of different stages of my journey are a residue of a life lived. Creation is not always a comfortable process, but for me it’s a necessary one."
